(More customer reviews)As happened to some of the other reviewers, the battery door on this detector broke the first time I opened it. I decided to give it a chance anyway and installed the batteries. The next day it randomly "alerted" me to high Carbon Monoxide levels. I silenced the alarm and then pushed the button to find out the "Peak Level" so that I would know why the alarm went off. It stayed at 0. Needless to say, I returned this. I ended up buying a Kidde brand detector (which I decided on after much research).
