(More customer reviews)If it works as described, as I belive that it does, judging from other reverse osmosis filters I have seen, it is a 5 out of 5 star deal... in terms of usage; but, installation, and the price to install it, is another issue. It is very difficult to install, more so than is described. It would take $100's of dollars to install, and that much more doubled to uninstall if it were to malfuction and need to be returned. If you have enough money for the over-head, then this product is probably going to satisfy you; otherwise, get something cheaper and easier to install (that probably does not work as well).

This unit includes an Ultraviolet System. System provides additional safety and purification of your drinking water through use of the R-Can "Copper" UV system. This system destroys 99.99% bacteria, virus and protozoan cyst (specifically giardia lamblia and cryptosporidium).

Stage 1 - Sediment: 5 Micron Sediment filter to remove dirt, rust and other suspended particles.
Stage 2 - Carbon: Carbon Block Filter Cartridge to remove chlorine, taste and odor.
Stage 3 - Carbon: Carbon Block Filter Cartridge to remove chlorine, taste and odor.
Stage 4 - Reverse Osmosis: Thin Film Reverse Osmosis Membrane to remove 99% of dissolved solids. housing.
Stage 5 - Polishing Filter: The water runs through an in-line carbon filter to remove any taste or odor.
Stage 6 - Ultraviolet Sterilizer: The water runs through a UV disinfection system just before dispensing from the faucet for 99.99% destruction of bacteria, virus & protozoan cysts.
