(More customer reviews)This heat detector was required by our local fire inspector to be installed over our cars in the garage. Installation was as simple as any standard wired detector, and it worked perfectly well with the rest of our Kidde detectors. Just don't forget to unwrap and install the batteries before you put all of your ladders away :)
