(More customer reviews)I was looking primarily for a sturdy weather radio to use during hurricane season and this definitely does the job. At least two of the weather frequency bands come in clear as well as many of the AM/FM bands. It does come with an AC charger, but AA batteries can also be used. The battery lasts about two weeks in standby mode. It's small enough to be easily carried and seems fairly sturdy. Overall, this seems to be a good weather radio and the FM/AM radio is a nice addition, though this probably wouldn't make a good every day AM/FM radio.
