(More customer reviews)On December 15, 2010, I ordered, on Amazon.com, the AAS-v600 Wireless Security Alarm System, DIY, kit, for the home my daughter lives in, alone. My order was shipped out the same day, and it arrived as scheduled by UPS, on December 23, 2010. The next day, I laid out all components, and read the User's Manual, regarding installation instructions. The section on Security Zones, was not clear, but I muddled through it. I connected the batteries on all items containing 9 volt batteries, and then activated all components using the Control Unit. Everything checked out just fine. I next laid out a diagram for the installation of the items, set out for each room of my daughters home. Installation went smoothly and it took me about six hours to complete the task. I am 71 and do not move that fast any longer. Upon completing the installation of the system, I tested each door, window, motion and other sensors, to make sure that they worked with the alarm system on. They did. There were not any problems with the system and I have only made some minor adjustments to the unit, such as entry/exit delays, etc., to fit my daughter's habits on the use of her home. On December 19, 2010, I placed another ordered, through Amazon.com, for a AAS-v700 Wireless Security Alarm System, DIY, kit, for my own home. It arrived on December 27, 2010 and I look forward to installing it soon after the New Year. I am completely satisfied with the quality and operation of the unit that I have already installed at my daughter's home.
