(More customer reviews)After installing this unit as a replacement, I was constantly plagued with it turning on and off relentlessly through the night from wind fluttering leaves or due to rain. I turned the sensitivity down fully, but that still did nothing to rectify the problem. I tried placing duct tape over most of the sensor and that didn't help much either plus it defeated the purpose of having the sensor in the first place.
So, I purchased this unit here on the Amazon site --> Desa International/Heat SL-5407-A Outdoor Motion Detector and so far so good. Works great !!... just right. No more sensitivity issues !, but is triggered when it's supposed to be.
