The 2-door design is very useful so you can place large, less frequently needed items in the bottom bin and just open the top door for more frequently needed items. The shelving is ample to help organize foods. The bottom drawer does take a little tugging at times. Unfortunately, we purchased this model specifically for the door alarm. Within days of delivery, the alarm began malfunctioning. After several attempts by the company to fix the problem, the part needed is no longer available. Whirlpool is standing behind its product and is shipping us a new 2009 model as a free replacement.
