Digi Intl. WATCHPORT/H HUMIDITY & ( 301-1141-01 ) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this figuring it was inexpensive and I was taking a risk on whether it would work well given the price.
I was pleasantly surprised! The software works well and installed on my Win 2003 server quickly and easily. I had this up and running in less than a half hour.
It emails and texts us if the temperature or humidity falls outside of the range we set. I tested it all and it works great!
What a great, inexpensive product. The software is pretty great considering that other systems that do the exact same thing and with similar software cost 10x more than this!
Monitor your server room or any room with a computer in it.

Carbon Monoxide Alarm,AC/DD Plug In,9V Battery Backup,WE - ALARM,CARBON DIOXIDE,AC/DC(sold individuall) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was looking for a carbon dioxide alarm so this description actually said monoxide and dioxide, but to make sure I called Kidde. They assured me that none of their alarms detect carbon dioxide and this is just another case of people not knowing the difference between the two.

Pool Guard Above Ground Pool Alarm -ASTM Approved Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)When I first placed the device into the pool it went just in like the instructions had indicated. The next day it was chirping so I replaced the battery. A few days later the device started to go off in the middle of a calm sunny day. I replaced the battery again. A few more days and the device went off in the middle of a calm dry night. The indoor receiver never activated. I reset the device but it continue to go off the rest of the night until I removed it from the pool and again the indoor receiver never activated. Upon observation the device was discolored where it sat in the water (about a week) so I had the water tested professionally, the water chemistry was perfect.

Newpoint Corporation Computer-Grade Surge Protector Floor 7-Outlet Alarm 900 Joules Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this product (maybe a slightly older model) a number of years ago for my computer. During a lightning storm my computer stopped working and when I opened it up the power supply cable had been burned and was melted to the motherboard. Since the surge protector was insured I submitted my claim with pictures and waited, Newpoint sent me back a letter saying they tested my surge protector and it passed their tests, thus they believed it was a prolonged overvoltage that caused my issue. Despite that they were sending me a new surge protector. Fast forward 5 years, the replacement surge protector is now being used on an older TV in my bedroom and during another lightning hits (different home, different state) and pop, the TV plugged into the Newpoint is dead. Things plugged into $2 surge protectors did just fine, but once again the Newpoint "protected" stuff is dead. I will never buy another Newpoint product again.

STI 32000 Wireless Doorbell Extender, Extends Existing Doorbell to Hard-to-Hear Locations Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This was simple to install (3 wires) and easy to use. There is a slight delay when someone rings the door bell and the wireless bell rings. It isn't too much delay, but typically about 1/2 to 1 full second.
I only have two complaints which is why I didn't give this a 5.
1: The price seems a bit high for what you get, but it does work well.
2: I'd really have liked for the doorbell to be a bit louder.

Kidde FA110 Multi Purpose Fire Extinguisher 1A10BC Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought two of these fire extinguishers from Home Depot in 1999. In 2006 my toaster oven flamed up and I quickly pulled out the fire extinguisher and it promptly stopped the fire. Then, just yesterday my toaster oven flamed up again and this time I didn't notice for some time and the flames were pretty bad though still concealed within the toaster. I pulled out the second fire extinguisher and it put out the fire right away. The only downside is that the fire extinguisher can be used only once and the material it spews out is in dust form and it goes all over the place - but that's not so bad considering it stops fires! I'm getting a couple of more of these. It's impressive that they sat unused for almost 10 years and still worked fine in an emergency. I'm also getting rid of the old toaster over :)

LH680014 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Every fall for the past 12 years, the furnace will start the season "short cycling" -- start up, fire for a short time, then shut off the flame, cool down, and immediately start all over again. Not very efficient. Every fall, I cleaned the flame sensor and was good for another year of the furnace working properly.
This year, I decided my luck may eventually run out, and bought a replacement. Its an under 5-minute job to change in our Bryant furnace.
No matter what, I'd reccomend keeping a replacement handy. Its relatively cheap insurance. If you're waiting on a new sensor to be shipped, remove the old sensor and clean the ends with steel wool, check the connection, and resinstall -- that may keep you warm at least until the new one arrives.
