(More customer reviews)This unit is the type you need in an area where nuisance tripping is a problem. I recently hardwired a series of alarms throughout my home and the alarm nearest the kitchen was frequently going off, causing of course all the others to sound simultaneously. All the other alarms in the house are ionization sensing units and this photoelectric unit connected to the plug-in and mounting bracket already installed in my ceiling.
